    Make a new partition


    Is there a program to idvide the C partioin into 2 partitions?
    I don't understand the new partions (system, recovery...) schem in WIN 10
    I used to do it easilly on XP with Partition Magic, but now....

    There are many guides and descriptions of the GPT/UEFI partitioning scheme from the simpler to the very detailed. Here are some:

    The Recovery partition provides support for:
    - automatic repair on boot (usually not successful)
    - advanced startup options e.g. command prompt, System Restore from boot
    - boot to Safe Mode

    It is optional and can be deleted without affecting the normal use of Windows.
