Sacre merde! That's a seriously expensive laptop.

I don't have a proper spudger, but I've used nylon tools of the sort used to remove automotive trim. Harbor Freight sells them.

@rezpower: Thanks for the part ID, how did you find it? It's quite expensive, for a piece of aluminum. Probably cost them 25 cents to manufacture, then they gouge customers. It's one thing to make a profit, quite another to gouge. The few sellers that do have it charge an exorbitant amount for the item, then they have the gall to charge almost as much to ship it. For an item that doesn't even weigh an ounce. Sellers are ungrateful these days, it's like they don't care about customers and don't want to keep them. I don't know about everyone else, but if I'm a seller and a customer is willing to pay a certain minumum amount for something, then I will certainly offer free shipping, even if it is out of pocket. It's just good business practice.

@bobkn: Yes, it sure is. That's why I take excellent care of it, like a wild animal caring for their young ones. I was just determined not to buy a desktop. It gets well over 60FPS in most games, even at 4K. I'm not sure it's a good idea to be using car tools on a laptop. As for tweezers, I just use my girlfriend's professional nail care tweezers but should get my own.

    The adapters @:

    and

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Clevo-P870D...-/123512746366

They have the same part # but physically look different. Yet the former (http://rjtech.com) only charges about $10 for shipping via USPS. How do I determine which is the correct part for my model?
