dalchina, I just want to thank you again for all your help. I decided to recover my 2 year old copy of Windows 10, because I can mount my files on it. You might remember I couldn't mount my files on a new install. I have it all up and running now. I just couldn't wait any longer.

Perhaps you might like to consider trying Macrium Reflect (free) instead of Aomei. Of course we've no clear evidence to blame Aomei, but the behaviour is strange. Macrium has an excellent history and I watched a video by its founder - available on this site- which impressed me. Used by many here.
