    DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE, super slow computer

Recently, I have been using Driver Booster 6 on steam to download and install drivers. Just today, my laptop started being extremely slow, then a BSOD appeared with a DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE error. After this, I rebooted my laptop, then downloaded drivers from Driver Booster 6. After this, I attempted to update my drivers for my GTX 1050 Ti, but it wouldn’t let me, saying I didn’t have the correct version of windows installed. I then installed all of the updates for windows, then rebooted my laptop. Ever since then, my laptop is extremely slow, takes a huge amount of time just to turn on, and is so slow that it is basically unusable. How do I fix this?

    I have a Lenovo Legion Y530 laptop
    GTX 1050 Ti
    intel i7 8th gen
    16 gb ddr4 ram

    Thank you in advance!

You should avoid using driver installers like the plague. Get drivers from manufacturers webpage instead.

Perform a system restore to a date that is prior to the installation of driver booster.

You may also want to try to (re)install the drivers from your laptop vendor, installing those overwrites the driver booster drivers.
