    Looks OK to me.

You could transfer to a new SSD by either cloning or imaging.

After you finish, you may as well assign that 450 mb unallocated to C. It's not doing you any good when it's unallocated.

You can do that with Partition Wizard.

Would it be possible to make it into one partition?

Was that "recovery partition" on the laptop when you purchased it?

    I'm assuming it was.

You'd have to keep that recovery partition if you think you might some day want to restore to the factory configuration.

If you don't care about that, you could delete it.

But---no reason to do that right now. I'd go ahead and get it firing on all cylinders on the new SSD and then reconsider your options.

Or you should be able to do a clean install directly to the new SSD and not worry about any type of transfer. That would create the necessary partitions and would omit that recovery thing.

No it won't. It is a part of Windows 10 recovery and Windows 10 will create it at clean install. Only the last 451 MB (unallocated space) can be added.

Great I wasn’t sure what the recovery partition was I deleted the original backup partition before I cloned the drive, the original hdd was replaced with this ssd drive.thanks for your help I might try a clean install first it’s just the time it takes to install all your programs etc easy option to clone.thanks again to all for your help.

You can make an image (with Macrium reflect free) and use it as a backup, and also for transfer to the new drive (better than cloning)

And now when your system is nice and clean, make all of system adjustments and then system Image.
