Keyboard not working in Safe Mode

    Hi All,
Something weird happened this morning while trying to uninstall Intel RST services (which don't have anything to do with this problem). I am running 1809 build 17763.253 on Win 10 Pro.
I booted into Safe Mode and after prompt to enter password which worked fine. I went to safe mode desktop and found that I could not type with my Corsair K70 RGB keyboard. I rebooted several times and no luck. I then plugged in a old MS usb keyboard and had same result. I finally gave up and after several attempts I finally got back to normal Windows. First time that ever happened. Not gonna boot into Safe Mode again until I find out why that is happening lol.
Anyone else have this problem lately?

    cheers

Boot into Setup (Bios) Go to Integrated Peripherals, look for Legacy USB or Keyboard. If it is disabled, using your Enter and Arrow keys, Enable it. Save and Exit.

Thanks I will check that out.

Just checked the BIOS and it is enabled so I guess there may be another culprit. Still will search though. I don't often go into the Safe Mode but not so worried right now.
I am expecting a new tower case within a couple days so I plan on moving all components over there and then format with fresh install of Win 10. Maybe that will fix the bug.

If you are absolutely stuck in safe mode go to “Start -> Windows Aministrative Tools -> System Configuration”, select the “boot” tab and uncheck the “safe boot” checkbox and then click “OK”.

Thanks for the reply. Seems the bug is gone, weird things happen sometimes lol. I will make note of your suggestion in case it happens again.

Where do I find Integrated Peripherals?

Did you boot into Setup (Bios)?
There should either be listing there for Integrated Peripherals or it would be under the Advanced tab. If neither, poke around there until you see Legacy USB.
