    Realtek equalizer effects shortcut

I've created some custom equalizer profiles for different audio purposes, especially those for different FPS games with different boosts and wonder if it's possible to create a shortcut to activate them? Can autohotkey do it for me, or any other possibility to achieve what I want?

Not that I am aware of. But you can set custom profiles for each game in the Equalizer profiles. At leasy with my version you can.

If this is for your ASUS STRIX X470-F you have the almost the same SupremeFX 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC S1220A, @essenbe and I have SupremeFX 8-Channel High Definition Audio CODEC S1220

What you need is the UAD version of the Realtek driver that uses the UWP apps and SonicSuite, specially Sonic Studio, and you can personalize each and every program on your system

Here is a really good version I found and have installed: Realtek HD Audio (UAD) Drivers Version R2.8x (8557) WHQL (Asus)

Before installation, you need to uninstall the current HDA driver, and totally rip it out of the system.

Use an uninstaller like Geek Uninstaller
    Restart Windows
Check AppData and ProgramData folders for any leftovers.
Open Regedit and delete the registry entry in:
    Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Realtek\Audio

Then install the codec pack selecting AsusSetup Realtek equalizer effects shortcut-image.png

    OK???
The name "laptop" doesn't help much sorry....
Need to know manufacturer and model(or at least which codec chip is being used).

But you might get better help if @DooGie helps, as he is one of the house codec experts.

In any case a UAD driver is needed to do what you want to do, and not the olde HDA versions.

It's actually a MSI GS60 2PE Ghost Pro with Realtek ALC892 onboard. I'm using some 85xx driver from September 2018 downloaded through Microsoft Catalog and installed it in Device Manager (CAB files). I've the Realtek GUI, but no Sound Blaster crap.
