First what do you think of the hardware
I got this laptop MSI GT83VR 7RF-206 Titan SLI - Notebookcheck.net External Reviews with the price 2800$
is this a good price for this laptop considering it has 3 months guarantee left? should I buy it?

I am aware of all the cons, how heavy it is, but it is to replace my desktop.

Reviews in the internet most are good, but there is few bad interviews like 2%, but all says that this laptop is working prefect.

The laptop is equipped with really high end components like the Intel Core i7-7920HQ , NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 SLI with great RAM capacity, ample storage space. According to me it is worth the price. But it also depends on the work for which you have bought this laptop. As it is a high end machine and is ideal one for video editing, photo editing work.
Unless you have a particular need for portability, you would be much further ahead to put that $2800 into a desktop system and not compromise performance. It's obviously a high end "gaming" laptop, but you'll never get the performance out of it that you would from a similar desktop system.
the thing is if I want to buy such a desktop system, which I already have, it will cost more much more and it will take more space.
a new laptop will cost about 6670$ in my country, and this one is barley used and still has guarantee. I see it much as an investment more than a consumption.
the hardware, as mentioned, before is really high end, and I am an IT-nerd and there will be endless use for such hardware.
