    Canon Printer Installation

    Good Morning All

I have a Canon TS8051 Printer. Every thing was working up until 2/3 months ago. Since then I have been unable to reinstall the software and drivers (I cannot recall why I had to reinstall the printer?). Every time I try to install I get the message "Deactivate the block" (see attahed images). I have the windows firework and protection disabled and still I get the same message.

I also had Norton Security installed but unistalled and still get the same message.

    Hi Kevin

Two things I would try. First go to Norton and get their complete removal tool, something may have been left behind.

If that doesn't work try installing with a Clean boot.

    Hi Ken

Apologies for not posting earlier. The issue was a VPN.
