Crash while benchmarking Heaven - ejected_by_rule

    Hey all,

First time poster and hoping someone can shed some light. The problems started about 7-10 days ago while played BDO, the video would freeze and depending on how the coin flips the game would completely crash out, or unfreeze. Reliability Monitor would show the following error:

    LKD_0x141_Tdr:6_IMAGE_nvlddmkm.sys_Pascal_3D, type 0

I have since performed a complete rebuild of the machine from scratch with the latest GPU drivers from nVidia. 417.35. I moved the GPU to another slot on the MB, swapped out PSU cables and put them into other ports and am now getting the following error when trying to benchmark in Heaven:

    Description
A problem with your hardware caused Windows to stop working correctly.

    Problem signature
    Problem Event Name: LiveKernelEvent
    Code: 141
    Parameter 1: ffffc20a642b8010
    Parameter 2: fffff803642ac7e4
    Parameter 3: 0
    Parameter 4: 3728
    OS version: 10_0_17763
    Service Pack: 0_0
    Product: 256_1
    OS Version: 10.0.17763.2.0.0.256.48
    Locale ID: 1033

    Extra information about the problem
    Bucket ID: rejected_by_rule
    Server information: bffb67ae-b797-4d20-b778-aa2d3438488b

I should also say that before any of these problems popped up, I was getting consistent 200+ FPS in Heaven. Now, before it crashes out, I am lucky to get 170.

Can anyone hopefully shed some light on what is going on? At my wits end what to try next.

Many thanks in advance for any and all help.

    Please see posting instructions.
BSOD - Posting Instructions - Windows 10 Forums

There are two log collectors: DM and BETA.
Post a zip into the thread for the BETA log collector.

Apologies. It's done. I failed to apply the license when I just did the rebuild. Do I need to run any of the log reports over?

Please post a new BETA log collector zip.

There were no mini dumps collected in the prior run.

If there are any mini dumps please add a share link using one drive, drop box, or google drive.

    1) In the left lower corner search type: system or system control > open system control panel > on the left pane click advanced system settings

    a) > on the advanced tab under startup and recovery > click settings > post an image of the startup and recovery window into the thread

    b) > on the advanced tab under performance > click on settings > on the performance options window > click on the advanced tab > under virtual memory > click on change > post an image of the virtual memory window into the thread

    2) If the computer has Ccleaner (do not install the software if it is not already installed) > click windows tab > scroll down to system and advanced > post an image into the thread

Please see the attached revised Beta Collector logs.

Not readily seeing any mini-dumps. Would they be stored in another location away from where the collector logs are stored?

    Ccleaner not installed.

    1) Make sure that there is no overclocking during the troubleshooting.

    2) Uninstall: MSI Afterburner 4.5.0

    3) The logs have < 1 day of events and have very little information.

    4) There are hints in the logs as to an underlying problem.

    5) It's often best to debug BSOD files to find the cause(s) of the crashes.

    6) For any BSOD:
    a) Run the BETA log collector and post a new zip into the thead
    b) Open file explorer > this PC > C: > in the right upper corner search for: C:\windows\memory.dmp > if the file size is < 1.5 GB then zip and post a share link into the thread using one drive, drop box, or google drive

    7) If there are any important files on the drive > back files up to another drive or to the cloud

    8) If there are any important files on the drive > make a backup image using Macrium:
Macrium Software | Your Image is Everything

    9) Save the Macrium image to another drive or to the cloud

    10) Create a brand new restore point

    11) If there are no spontaneous BSOD over several days then there is a tool that can be used to stress test drivers.

    12) Read this link: (do not use the tool until it is communicated in the thread)
Enable and Disable Driver Verifier in Windows 10 | Tutorials

    13) For startup and recovery system failure:
    a) Uncheck automatically restart
    b) Reboot to maintain settings

    14) If automatically restart is checked it can be easy to miss BSOD.
If automatically restart is unchecked you should see a BSOD window with bugcheck and : (
Sometimes you may see a misbehaving driver in the form *.sys
At the very beginning of a BSOD you may see a % counter.
If you see the % counter allow it to rise to 100% before rebooting so that there is sufficient time to create the dump files.

    15) Run FurMark - GPU Stress Test Windows 10 Performance Maintenance Tutorials
FurMark - GPU Stress Test Windows 10 Performance Maintenance Tutorials:
FurMark - GPU Stress Test | Tutorials
Please make note of the importance of temperature monitoring and aborting the test in the GPU link.
    a) Record the maximum temperature and post the maximum temperature into the thread.
    b) Record the test duration and post the uninterrupted test duration into the thread.
    c) Aim for testing 1 hour.
    d) Use the Microsoft snipping tool to post images into the thread.

I tried to run both BDO and Heaven again per your instructions and both crashed out. I am attaching the latest Beta log collector. The reason for such little data is due to the fact the system was rebuilt from scratch in an attempt to resolve this frustrating issue.

Below please find a screenshot from FurMark for the Preset:2160 (4k/UHD) test. I will be running the 2560x1440 test for an hour to see what types of results I get and will post them here as well. Many thanks again for all of your help.

This is the preset 1080. Pretty poor scores.
