I do have USB dongle but it doesn't work well (especially when I connect PS4 connectors it lags at times in multiplayer). I'll only use it if this next step fails too.
Alright, I read a bit more and supposedly one antenna carries wifi and bluetooth signals and the other carries only wifi. If one antenna is somehow problematic, COULD it lead to these issues? I'm gonna try swapping the main and aux connectors and see if it makes any difference for a week or more.
Attached is the layout of my laptop with the red ink being the ends of the antennas. I'm thinking of getting new ones but I have no idea what the copper tape seems to be for nor what the mini pcb looking card is. I've found two designs, one of which seems to resemble mine. Obviously I'll only buy it if the experiment works but can anyone share any insight about these antennas? They're MHF4.

Case in point! I have a similar issue... I have an integrated Bluetooth and WiFi AC connections. Under Windows 10 I am able to connect with at least three pairs of Bluetooth headsets and I can not get a single one of them to accept the audio output from my ASUS Q-Series 2-in-1 notebook...UNLESS I pair it to an audio headphone jack Bluetooth transmitter. Like I stated within my last posting I have a driver update program that I use to keep all of my drivers up-to-date and secure.

Under "Connected" under the "Action Center" within the system tray I see my paired headphones and other devices, yet I can NOT get them to recieve the audio signal wirelessly unless I route the audio through my headphone jack through my Bluetooth transmitter. This is the only conundrum I have had with this 2-in-1!

Other than that I love this notebook. It does its job and does it well and it is a rock solid piece of machinery.

Any thoughts would be greatful. I can see I am not the only one with this issue with Windows 10.

    Cheers!

Do not swap the antenna cables! If you do your reception will be very very low! As for the audio, I have seen it (mostly on Windows 7, not 10). To solve it you have to replace your standard Bleutooth drivers with IVT Blue Soleil and use its application to enable audio through Bluetooth.

It's only an experiment, if the wifi doesn't work well or seems much weaker I'll instantly switch it back, the point is mainly to see if it could be an antenna fault (and lack of any signal) that somehow leads to the bluetooth not appearing i.e. the bluetooth might self-turn off on the hardware level if it doesn't detect wireless signals.
I'm just curious about the difference between the 2 antennas and what the purpose of the mini pcb looking card and copper tape is.

    hemingway59,

In the blue area of your photo
1 The WiFi card is not lined up squarely with the black connecting block, and
2 The black connecting block is not lined up squarely with the connecting bar that is fixed to the circuit board.

Perhaps you were in the middle of doing something when the photo was taken?

By the way, I cannot comment on the questions about the far ends of the antennas [the red areas]. Perhaps the elaborate pads are merely a means of securely anchoring the ends.
