New SSD speed

    Thanks mate then I might just go ahead and get a small one and see how it goes with a SATA adapter.

    You will need to get somebody to mod the bios file for your board if you want to boot from pcie. Or you might find the modded pro bios I linked earlier will cross flash onto your board.


    Otherwise, if you use a sata adapter, you will only get sata speed.

    Ok I see well I suppose for the extra speed the extra that has to be done then I shall stick with the 860 EVO i have in place for the sake of booting faster than 25 seconds which I have right now.

    My other issue is the one I need to find out about as I don't know how to set the PCI set up toget the x3 gen support.
