Installing SSD not detected by BIOS

Sequence of installing new SSD.

1. Disconnected the HDD with Windows.
2. Fitted Syba 4 Sata PCI-E card
3. Fitted Samsung 500GB 860 SSD connected to Syba 4 Sata PCI-E card
4. Installed Windows 10 Home in Samsung 500GB 860 SSD

​Windows installed fine in the SSD. Entered the BIOS to set the SSD as 1st Boot priority but the BIOS has not detected it. The only boot devices shown in the BIOS are the CD/DVD Rom and the Replaceable Device.
Device Manager shows the SSD connected.
I connected the the HDD which still has Windows installed but I get the message to "Reboot and Select Boot Media" even though the SSD is still connected.
Any help would be most appreciated.

Just noticed while safe removing USB memory stick that the SSD shows as a removable drive C\:!!!!

Your BIOS is lacking boot support for the SSD. Especially if the SSD is NVMe. Windows is using its own drivers to access the SSD. You may very well be able to run Windows from the SSD, but you will have to boot the computer from a device that the BIOS recognizes and supports.

Will I be able to run Windows from the SSD if as it is not detected in the BIOS as installed but being recognised as a Removable drive if I set the BIOS to boot from Removable drive as the first priority? If so can I than move the library to the HDD as usual when Windows is installed on a SSD?

What interface is the SSD? Is it AHCI or NVMe?

In order to boot from a PCIe card the card itself must contain an option ROM (a.k.a. boot ROM, OROM, add-on ROM) and your BIOS must support booting to an option ROM.

Assuming you're using the ASUS M4A79-T in your profile, if you set "AddOn ROM Display Mode" to [Force BIOS] do you see any messages from the Syba card after the POST screen?

ASUS M4A79-T. Where would the option to set

"AddOn ROM Display Mode" on the BIOS?

No I do not see a message

from the Syba card after the POST screen but I so see a message from the SSD on power on!

The card I have is

Syba SI-PEX40064 SATA III 4 Port PCI-e x1 Controller Card.

The SSD is

Samsung MZ-76E500B/EU 500 GB 860 EVO Sata III 64L V NAND Solid State Drive

I'm confused. The SSD is a standard 2.5" SATA SSD. It's not an M.2. So why the need for a PCI-e controller card? Don't you have any SATA connections left on the motherboard?

It's under Boot Settings.

The motherboard has 5 SATA connectors which are all occupied by 2 HDD, 2ROM and 1 Hot swap HDD. I mistakenly perhaps thought that by fitting a SSD with Windows only would make booting up quicker as with the HDD boot up can take up to 1 1/2 minutes and the only solution I have found to resolve the boot up time is a clean install of Windows.
