To be honest Clint I have no idea what RAID is all about so I am sorry I cannot say all I know is that I have a Samsung 860 EVO 500GB drive for the machine and it takes a a minute just about to boot and for a drive that supposedly has a read rate of 560Mbs that is awfully slow.
The board an Asus P8Z77-V I think supports RAID but I have great difficulty in determining what all the abbreviations are in the BIOS except for setting the RAM and CPU speeds currently the RAM at 2133MHz and the CPU at 4.1GHz.
Z77 chipset does support raid. You can check in the BIOS if drives are in RAID0 or not but I doubt drives in RAID would cause this issue.
Has this happened recently?
SSDs are not immune from failures for a number of reasons. You may want to check S.M.A.R.T. status of your drive with ChrystalDiskInfo:
CrystalDiskInfo Crystal Dew World
Yep Cr00zng have run that, AS SSD and the Samsung Magician but Crytsal doesn't work and AAS SSD reports drive is good the read rate rate down a bit but I cannot help but feel it is in the BIOS soemwhere soemthing isn't quite right.
NB This is happening with two brand new Samsung 860 EVO's
Odd as Crystal works fine with my 3 month old 860 Evo, maybe re-install Crystal or perhaps update it?
