Is it a hardware problem which has nothing to do with Windows?

The Linux testing would be useful.
And a CPU/iGPU swap would be a useful confirmation.
Of the crashes which were spontaneous and which were power off?

It was never powered down manually or accidentally before the crashes.

When I tried to install Unigine Valley on Linux, I got the following:

I tried both "Current Locale" and "Western", but the file still could not be opened.

I am now using a smartphone. I just used Linux on my PC for 81 minutes, during which no malfunction happened.

I just used Windows on my PC for three minutes. The malfunction happened three minutes after Windows started.
I wonder why it happened on Windows but not on Linux. If the problem lies in the GPU, Linux should also have been affected.

I am now using my smartphone again. My PC is now running Windows in safe mode. Windows cannot access the Internet, but no malfunction has happened in the past 30 minutes. Does it mean that a certain faulty function on the GPU will not be used in safe mode, so the malfunction will not happen?

Gedit is a Text editor for Gnome Linux...and you are trying to open an installer or program with it....you can see in the error message it is asking if you are trying to open a "binary" file ie a Program with it.

    gedit - Wikipedia

The Bios should have an Option called VGA Support according to the Manual,(pg23) if it is on Auto try EFI or visa vesra perhaps...I see nothing in the Manual about disabling Hardware Acceleration only, you can disable the iGPU though if you install a dedicated GPU. you could try setting the GPU Memory higher , 64mb is low by today's standards, see page 26 of the manual.

I assume the iGFX (iGPU) is set correctly in the Bios per page 25 of the Manual?

Try and borrow a friends Graphics card perhaps to test with....

You have to right-click the file and mark it executable. Then try to run it again. Yes, I know, Linux can be weird, that's why I don't like it and prefer Windows.
