You're very welcome. For some odd reason, the Intel Driver & Support Assistant didn't think I needed new drivers, even though these new ones work like a champ. That tool used to be pretty decent (Intel Driver Update is what I seem to recall it was named back when) but it seems mostly nugatory now.
I'm not checking that stuff as often as I should be, which is why I appreciate seeing mention of new stuff here in the Forums.

Is there still a way to just use the "inf" file (setup information) and really just install the driver?

The drivers can be extracted to a folder and then the device driver can be updated via Device manager.

Running the update via the device manager didn't change the driver version, or date:



One would say, that the driver version/date should be changed in the device manager. Am I missing something?
