Yup, ended up resolving it by doing the following:

1- Uninstall all Realtek Audio drivers until it shows as High Definition Audio driver on device manager.
2- Manually install realtek_uad_8591 through device manager.
    3- Reboot twice.
4- Install Realtek Console Windows app
Get Realtek Audio Control - Microsoft Store

That managed to get me the EQ and all the other settings through the Realtek app finally.

The only issue that I'm having right now is that Forza Horizon 4 seems to ignore the custom EQ that I set, for some reason it disables all enhancements but maybe that's something to do with Windows 10 18xx updates because on 1709 it was not happening.

Good stuff! I basically did step 1 and then installed the latest driver from Dell's site for my Aurora R7 and played with the Realtek Audio Console and I like it so far. This is what I have for version.

I'm going to take a plunge and see if I can get the UAD drivers working in WIP build 18305 on my *ancient* X58 system. Wish me luck!

And... no go - no compatible hardware. But the FF00 HDA drivers (8603) installed perfectly fine after manual uninstallation of the last set.

I was waiting for a UAD success there, was a bit of a longshot though

    Hi all,

After having trouble installing the latest HDA drivers on the other thread, I thought I'd give UAD a go. Managed to install fine using the device manager manual "browse my computer" for drivers method.

    I have a few questions;
Firstly, how do I go about uninstalling the previous HDA drivers - they are still on my machine. Secondly, I noticed that the 'enhancements' tab is now missing from Sounds as shown below. This also the case for others?

Well...I installed UAD drivers on my desktop (ASUS motherboard) and while the drivers successfully installed, and I have sound, the Realtek Audio Console app doesn't work. When I open it, it just sits there with the little "windows dots circle" going. It never loads. Thoughts?

Did you try a double left click on "Speakers" ?

    I get this if I do. . .

I can then get the Equalizer. . .

    Edit:
A single left click from the Volume Mixer seems to work also, for me anyway.

I am not able to download Realtek Audio Control from the store.

I keep getting the following error : 0x803FB005

I am currently on UAD driver 6.0.1.8603, but this issue has been persistent for a few weeks now.

Also, I have the Realtek Audio Manager icon in the notification area and Control Panel, but clicking on them does nothing.
