    Usb Drives

    Hello!
It's started again, I have reset my pc with a fresh installation of Win10.
Last night it updated itself and now the two usb drives I have connected, randomly go into auto-play mode.
They open themselves up under the "manage" tab.
It's getting very frustrating when you are trying to do some work and the drive, gives the usb recognised sound, then opens it's self up, over the top of what you are doing.
Am I the only one with this problem?

this in theory sounds like either your usb sockets got loose or the drives cable got damaged so that minimal movement might disconnect/reconnect them , if you are certain this is not the case download an install your motherboard's manufacturer driver maybe they handle usb better .

    nIGHTmAYOR,
The usb drives started behaving like this after the October update.
As I said I used the win10 reset function to reinstall win 10. After this the usb drives behaved as normal.
Then yesterday evening when I went to turn off the pc, I got the message "update & shut down" jus to shut down was not an option. So I performed "update and shut down", and this morning the usb drives are opening themselves again. There is not a motherboard update available.
    Cheers,

Press the Win key+S in the search box type AutoPlay and press enter. Turn off AutoPlay for all media and devices. Take the drop down arrow next to Removable Drive and choose No Action.
