Yes, I need a new desktop PC and Yes, I have no knowledge of building up my own PC. Yes I know it's not difficult but I don't want to get myself into trouble because of no experience

You own built one. You can specify the components. I know it can be daunting but its rewarding and there are plenty of good how to videos on youtube. Cary Holzman is one suggestion.

I've had good luck with HPs and Dells. Lately I prefer the latter. Asus is widely recommended, too.
I know that's not very specific. But all you can expect from a board is a bunch of opinions, and no supporting data.
I wouldn't expect a great deal of difference among the major brands (Dell, HP, Lenovo, Asus, etc) considering how price-competitive the industry has become.
You can have a horrible experience with any of them, purely by luck.
Pretty good chance you will tear some hair out if you ever have to deal with customer service. It ain't what it used to be, because of declining profit margins and PC prices in the last 10 or 15 years.
Spend your time deciding what you intend to do with the PC and therefore what you DON'T need and shop accordingly. Spend the money on the components that will make a difference for your intended purposes----to the extent that you have a budget and are cost-conscious.
All the major players will charge outlandish prices for additional RAM, bigger hard drives, SSDs, larger monitors, etc. If you have a friend or reliable local shop, you may be able to save money by buying a basic machine and then making upgrades through local sources. Maybe you can buy the PC without a monitor at all. If you'd like to have 2 internal hard drives, maybe you can buy it with one and add a second drive locally.
They will probably try to sell you an extended warranty. Generally, those are over-priced and not advantageous to you, but could be worthwhile if you have bad luck in the second or third year of ownership.....or if that would give you some sense of security.
An impossible question as what you buy now from a manufacturer is not what someone bought 5 years ago and considers a good make after 5 years of experience.
You pretty much pay the same price for a given hardware specification.
In the UK there are quite a number of local companies assembling Desktop PCs and offer a similar range to the well known big companies. These are more likely to be made with standard components, also a small degree of flexibility like putting in a second/larger Hard Drive or something like that.
My first Desktop PC was made by a local company and lasted over 10 years. The box/keyboard just had their logo printed on, but the components inside like the MOBO were standard.
All the major brands are much the same. But you have missed out one important term - support.

Dell for PCs and Lenovo for laptops , both have huge contracts for supplying business machines and government equipment so they make their stuff highly durable not to risk penalties and warranty application .
But meh , with the rapid evolve of new hardware and graphics requirements demand for upgrade now doesn't revolve around hardware made but rather the good old question "Would it run Crysis ?" (A funny quote that came out a decade ago about hungry games pushing for hardware upgrade even being on latest)

Only pc that I ever retired instead of dying was a little Acer aspire lol
Freaking thing 7 years no issues at all
Funny upgraded just about everything on it
New case/ ram/ psu/ cpu to a Q9550 after and before and still have it just not in a case anymore
