Inserted USB stick on Suspend; burned out USB

    If that the case the usb stick / resume event was just the trigger, and it's better that it happened now than after I sold the machine. Machine was truly running great.

    Also, the port in question is on a daughter board. I would think the DB would take the hit rather than passing it on to the MB. The usb ports on the MB are fine, but the touchpad was killed. (Still listed in Device Manager though, oddly).

    Also, this model does not have a cmos battery. I never heard of that before. So my power drain was complete.
