Could you provide some more insight on what you mean by this? How exactly is your BIOS slow?

Good question. The BIOS is not an OS/Operating System, sets up the features/devices on the motherboard so the OS knows what is available during its startup. Or do you mean the time it takes to get to the OS startup screen? It does take a bit for the BIOS to enumerate things. Have seen times where having USB drives plugged in or a disc in the CD/DVD drive slow things down while the BIOS is looking for bootable devices it can use.

I mean exactly inside bios setup. The boot up is fine. And the slowness appears also in windows partly.

To give us an idea of what you are sensing, please do a small screenshot and post it. Open Taskmanager, click on the Startup Tab, and take a pic of this part. It will show time spent in the BIOS. Thanks.

You mean like making changes, moving from one setup screen to the next, back and forth? Slow for it to display next options screen? Slow to accept your input? That kind of thing? There's not much else.

Question.... how old is the machine, and have you ever changed the CMOS battery?
