Yes i exactly mean that. Machine is like 5 months. I cleared cmos and that didn't help.
With a BIOS boot time of 5.7 seconds, and it's only 5 months old, and altering BIOS settings is not done often..... I wouldn't worry too much about it unless it totally breaks on you. You have 7 months on your warranty, typically. It may just be the nature of the beast.

According to the specs, your running a gaming machine, with dual-bios, whatever that is.

    GIGABYTE UEFI DualBIOS™

Can you confirm this? I'm not familiar with dual-bios and any odd setups it may require.

    Just confirm, please.

Honestly, if the machine is running pretty good (nothing is perfect), I'd just let it be. I've seen disasters trying to muck with BIOS performance. If it gets worse, or you just can't live with it, contact the vendor and shake your fist! Or maybe there's a Gigabyte forum that may have some answers. Or somebody else here.

If you don't get any satisfactory answers in this General Support thread, you can ask a Moderator to move your issue to one of the following where you may get a better response.

Gigabyte have a Click BIOS (UEFI GUI). Dual BIOS doesn't have anything special in terms of config other than there's a second BIOS chip that can either boot if the Main BIOS fails (flash or corruption) and / or can be used to recover the Main BIOS by hotkey.

If navigation is slow, what are your input devices?

Try switching out Bluetooth or RF keyboards and mice for wired.

If you have PS/2 wired (not sure newer boards would have much more than a legacy PS/2 that is auto sensing for mouse or keyboard) try USB wired.

If you've carried out a flash recently, do an optimised / factory default and save and exit.

Reflash if it persists, use BIOS recovery if that doesn't change anything.

I don't see this thread in drivers and hardware yet. Is it done?

Google some terminology if you don't understand my reply. And actually, if that IS over your head then the last thing you should do is faff with the BIOS. Take it to a local repair shop and explain the problem.

See this little symbol at the bottom left of your posts? Click it (the triangle), and you ask for it to be moved. It's the Reporting box, but also used to request moves.
