How to use SIM card internet on Lenovo X1 Carbon ?

    How to use SIM card internet on Lenovo X1 Carbon ?


    Hey guys,

    There is an option to insert SIM card. So, I want to know how to use internet through SIM card port on Lenovo X1 Carbon ? Windows 10 Pro v1803 installed!

    Assuming you your device has a cellular radio, you buy data plan from a telco, insert the SIM and connect to that network. Shouldn't be all that different than using a cell phone.

    Please ensure your device has a cellular radio and not just a slot where a sim card can be placed.

    Yes I read that. They aren't going to make two or three different shells based on internal features.

    The wireless cellular card should be listed as a purchased feature.

    So how do I use it after getting Data SIM Card!

    If it has radio installed it is like any other connection.

    As I said, you install card and if radio is there it should be listed as an available connection. You connect and start browsing.

    I would set the connection as metered so you don't wind up with Feature updates being download.
