What is this supposed to mean? Do I need to manually search for the driver that failed to install?

@dalchina, so I read the thread over at Intel and it says it has to do with the chipset. Does this mean that the chipset needs to be updated? Should I install the driver manually? This PC is an Acer and it rarely gets new driver updates like HP and Dell gives out to their PC's.

I can't give you any exact idea. Seems there's a possibility MS is attempting to deliver an unwanted driver.
To prevent recurrence you can hide it (tutorial).

    To explore further: try
    Drivers & Software
    (Click the Get started button)

Also refer to your manufacturer's site/forum.

@dalchina, so I asked the Acer Community and they said I could always go to Intel or Realtek or use Driverbooster to update the drivers. I have been told by you all not to use secondary driver updaters.

Not sure what you're saying- the link I posted last was to an Intel site..

    Look at this another way
    - is your PC working?
    - can you identify a positive benefit of getting this driver?

If the answer to these is no, find some way of hiding it and ignoring it.

But, you also said to refer to manufacturer's site/forum. I thought you meant the computer manufacturer which is a Acer.

Yes, whichever works. The driver is Intel. I thought you meant the links seemed some secondary (rubbish) site.
