hello my keyboard just stops working when im playing games, ive tried multiple keyboards in every usb hub and it keeps happening. it only happened in black ops 4 but then started in destiny 2 now in almost any game i play my keyboard will shut off midgame but my mouse will still work. anyone know what will cause this issue? help me please and thank you i cant figure this out
well you need few things revealed first that might hint you where the problem is:
-do you get device disconnection sound when keyboard stop working ?
-are you the enthusiastic type that move their keyboard even a little whilst play ?
(might indicate your mobo usb ports are getting loosy and/or keyboard wire getting damaged)
-did you try removing the check of "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" in power management of your USB devices ?
-are you using a conservative power plan ?
(might indicate your system poorly recognizes the keyboard then tries to save power by cutting it off it)
-does control alt delete cease to work as well ?
-does your keyboard comes with a designated driver console running in system tray ?
(some games specially mmorpg/multiplayer may recognize keyboard tray console or using apps that were made by "auto hot key" a cheat mean -used for auto fire and scripted stunts - and would neglect their input)
-do you have languages other than english installed ?
-would the problem rise on utilizing alt+shift ?
(some games may have problems with certain languages as an input so you might want to remap those keys not to be used)
Did a fresh windows install and it fixed the issue, I tried all those nothing worked so it was just shitty windows 10
