Does it show Windows Hello in Sign in Options?

In your device manager do you have any devices with an exclamation mark?

Do you have a heading Biometric devices in Device manager?

Windows Hello should tell you if Facial or fingerprint recognition is available on your device.

Interesting, even on my 11 year HP there is that heading.

Now looking at your headings what is under Security devices, last one in screen shot.

Can you do a screen shot of your Sign in options. Please erase any private data before posting.

See that Other devices.... that is an unrecognized device, with question mark. (My error should have asked for both).

This could also be your fingerprint scanner.

Right click Start, click Device Manager, right click device you are having issue with, click “Properties”, click on “Details” tab, in “Property” box use the drop down to select “Hardware IDs”, copy and paste first line in “Value” box to Google and your next post. Google can usually tell you what device driver you are looking for.

If this turns out to be your fingerprint scanner the driver is here. Confirm this is your device. I could not enter serial number. Went with as close as I could get from your first post.
