Are you going to post those tabs in your BIOS?

If you have access to a USB attached fingerprint reader, you could plug it in and see if it works. If it does that raises the likelihood that the built-in reader isn't reading (or registering with Windows). Sorry for your trouble.

So I just checked Google and it seems this is a very common issue with Lenovo. I assumed the device just wasn't enable and failed to look at google first.

Thanks for your latest screen shots

Long threads on your model and others. Post 7 in this thread has a process. That said your device doesn't appear in device manager so how to remove.

    https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Windows.../4079072#M6641

DriverStore should give you access to all third party drivers allow you to uninstall.

I would also like you to expand the Universal Serial Bus Controllers in you device manager after you uninstall the driver to see if you have any exclamation marks within.

I read one thread where they suggest a clean install worked. Lot of effort for a fingerprint reader. If interested I have some ideas how you could try but all involve a long process.

Ed's suggestion of an external reader is valid.

Yet another possibility, clean install 1809 when released.

    So more thoughts.

If you create a Kyhi's recovery disk and boot from that. Then click on start, type device manager and click it when it appears in list.

You should see a heading "Other devices", with a question mark, expand that section.

Do you see Fingerprint Scanner in list?

Windows 10 Recovery Tools - Bootable Rescue Disk

Just did that with one of my devices and it was listed. Hoping this will tell us under the right situation Windows can see device.

    I would use this one.
