I can plug a camera or a tablet into the USB and it appears in This-PC. Not my mobile. I get an app titled Photos with a top menu Create (in green), Select import and others. Why can't I SIMPLY have it in This-PC.
What make and model # is your mobile?
iPhones require iTunes to import and export music and other files. iPhones will come up in This PC but you can only work with photo's
Motorola Moto 'C' but why should that be important. It works with my Sony camera and tablet.
This should be plug and play. Plug something in and it automatically displays in this PC. Well it did under fabulous windows 7
I should be able to brouse the folders on the phone. Not everything is a picture.
It used to work. Maybe a Microsoft update to prevent it.
Mobile is in the side menu only. Not in the main section.
Did you install the drivers on your PC? Click here https://support.motorola.com/us/en/solution/MS8 to find them. Also you go to settings>Storage>Tap on the three dots in the right corner> Tap on USB computer connection> Check media device (MTP), then go to Developer Options> Enable debugging option.
