Accidently created recovery drive when installing new hard drive.

I purchased a new pc with a 480TB solid state drive. I decided to add a regular hard drive also for extra storage. I purchased a Western Digital Blue 1TB drive. When I put it in the pc, Intel Rapid Storage Technology popped up. I had read the drive may need to be initialized so I thought this was what was happening. When it was done, it had created a recovery (RAID) drive from the new hard drive. I took the drive out and put it in another pc. It only showed up in the boot menu and said it was incompatible. How can I get the drive back to normal so I can use it as storage and not as a recovery drive?
Please help. I can't figure out what to do.

pc doesn't see the drive for me to be able to format it.

Open command prompt or powershell. Run:
diskpart <-answer the administrator prompt if it comes up
list disk
select disk # <-replace # with the actual number of the drive with the problem
clean <- this will erase the drive selected above, make sure you selected the correct drive!
convert gpt
create part pri
format fs=ntfs quick
assign
exit
exit

Can you see the drive when you open the disk management utility (diskmgmt.msc)? If so, you may be able to format it from there. If not, you may need to visit the drive maker's website (I can't tell from your post if your problem is with the WD 1 TB HD, or the 480 GB SSD for which you don't identify make and model in the post nor in your "My Computer" info) to get a low level format utility and see if you can restore it to operation that way.

Thanks for your response. The issue is with the WD 1TB hard drive. When I added it, the Intel software added it as a recovery disk. I need to designate it as a non-RAID disk. I have read you have to go to the motherboard bios to do that. I don't know how.

The WD drive doesn't show up in DISKPART.

Does it show up in BIOS/UEFI as connected to a SATA port? If it does not then you have a loose or defective SATA data cable or power cable, or a physically damaged hard drive.

This is what shows in the Intel screen. It shows the drive here.
