Off Topic for Win 10: Windows 7 Corrupted Partiiton Table & Hard Drive

So I know this is off topic for Windows 10. But, y'all are my last hope. I am working on a Dell laptop for my cousin. It has a corrupted or hidden partition table and a corrupted hard drive.

I am trying my best to fix it. Can someone shed some light on how to bring it back to the way it was when new?

Jumanji enjoys dealing with that stuff. If you are lucky, he will spot this thread.

How do I put TestDisk on a DVD-RW or a flash drive?

First try partition recovery with bootabale Partition Wiizard. Download version 9 from here https://web.archive.org/web/20150416...otable-cd.html

( In later versions Partition Recovery is not free)

With that ISO, create a bootable pendrive with Rufus. Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way

So, I have found the hidden partitions as well as the boot partitions. I am just trying to figure out how to restore them. When I click the OS partition and click the lost/deleted boot partitions, it says they are overlapped.

Do not hurry. The partitions found have to be selected carefully especially when there is an overlap.

Please wait for an hour or two. I shall write down the instructions and post. In the meanwhile, just take a snapshot of partitions found - use your mobile camera or any other camera - and post it. It will help me give precise instructions.

Okay. Let me let it scan again, and I will post it with my phone.
