    • Do you need to reinstall Microsoft Windows or Linux on your Dell PC due to a system crash, hard drive replacement, etc.?
    • The Dell OS Recovery Tool will help you download a customized Dell recovery image of Microsoft Windows or Linux that was preinstalled on your Dell PC.
    • Follow the steps below to download the utility, create a USB recovery media and reinstall Microsoft Windows or Linux on your Dell PC.

How to Download and Use the Dell OS Recovery Image in Microsoft Windows:

@jumanji, it is saying "No OS images defined for the product."

Okay. I am having issues understanding it, is why I am asking I guess.
You download the ISO, mount it and burn to dvd.

    Then boot, use showkey

I don't know whether those are defunct now. You can contact DELL and ask them whether recovery image/ OEM Installation disk is available for your Windows version and from where to get/download explaining your problem.

(Longback when I purchased a Dell Laptop in USA, after bringing it to India I requested Dell for a OEM installation disk - Windows 7 Home Premium. They said they will courier it to me from their HQ, in Bangalore and wanted my home address. I told them to hand it over to my daughter so and so in the DELL HQ. They found her and handed it over to her. Those OEM disks were also available from various websites for a price.. Check for DELL OEM installation Disks for your Windows version. If those are still available and you get it, nothing like that)

Also check this " If the image is not available, we request you to contact our Out of Warranty support team to check for available options. Do let us know the region you are located in, so that we can guide you to the right team."

If you are not successful in getting the OEM Installation Disk, go with Caledon Ken ( his post #103)

Had to do some research and not 100% sure.

If you download Kyhi's recovery disk it has a copy of ShowKeyPlus.

    This thread explains ShowKeyPlus

    ShowKeyPlus

I think you are looking in the OEM section at bottom of results.

You may just be able to google dell model or read its literature to see if key included. Since you have COA sticker I doubt you have both. I have been wrong on lots of things.
@Caledon Ken, I apologize. But I am still having issues understanding. Which one should I download to make the ISO to include the ShowKeyPlus?

Looks like Kyhi is updating. I use the older ones. I would go with 64bit version

So, I have successfully booted from the media. I am running MiniTool Power Data Recovery from the media. What does that do?

Also, it says the product key is found in firmware or something like that. How would I find that?
