    Hard Drive Unsupported

I am facing following problems when I try to connect my Segate External Hard Disk(2TB) to my laptop which is of windows 10 version:
a)My hard disk is showing uninitialized in Computer Management and is not detected in My Computer. When I tried to change it to online or offline, it showed the error: "The operation could not be performed due to to an I/O error". Additionally, it showed Device Not Migrated in its properties section(I have all my windows update done up to date).
b)When I tried the diskpart commands in cmd, first I typed diskpart in command prompt. It shows around 132 PB size(in place of 2TB). When I ran "clear all" command to delete all partitions, it succeeded. When I exit diskpart and tried to list the disk again using 'list disk' command, it is not showing up. It shows up only when it is ejected and connected again.
c)When I installed EaseUS partition recovery master, it shows unsupported. The hard drive previously worked in almost all versions of windows including windows 10. When I tried surface test in this software, it showed some 7000 bad sectors which was not responding when it reached 12%.
d)When I ran sfc/scannow command, it didn't show up any errors.
e)In the device management option, I am not able to click Shrink volume option as it looks like it is disabled.

well, I guess that's telling you something...

(Just wondering how SFC /SCANNOW could help with an external drive...?)

I have just run sfc/scannow and I don't know whether it is related to external hard drive. If it is a problem with bad sector, how can I remove the bad sector without using the Error Checking option in properties?(I am not able to detect it there)

SFC /SCANNOW checks the integrity of your Windows system files on C: and can perform limited repairs from the Win SxS repository. It has nothing to do with a failing external drive.

HDDs are manufactured with spare sectors to allow for two things- initial bad sectors when new, and a certain number of failures during the life of the drive. That algorithm is built into HDDs. When that number is exceeded, your data is at risk. The drive is failing.

One of the SMART parameters reports that.

Now you also appear to have failures in detecting the drive at Windows level. Notwithstanding that, try Hard Disk Sentinel (trial) - if it can see your drive, it gives a very clear GUI level report. Try downloading and installing it.

You appear to be dealing with a failing drive- hope you have a backup.

But will that show for uninitialized drives?
