    Nvidia files and folders

I've downloaded and installed the latest Nvidia but do not see the common c:\NVIDIA folder at all, even showing hidden files.
I do however, see in the Program Files a folder called NVIDIA Corporation. Also under Program Files (x86) another folder called Nvidia Corporation.
Is there anything inside of these folders I can delete to save space or should I leave well enough alone. I do not see in either of these directories a file or subfolder called Download. Please advise. Thanks.

The last couple of Nvidia Driver updates I've done I haven't seen the C:\Nvidia folder after it's done. I think it cleans up after itself now and deletes that folder, but don't quote me on that .... I'd leave well enough alone :)

The files inside your "Programs Files/Nvidia Corporation/ Installer2/" folder can be deleted to save you lots of space. Only the files IN your Installer2 folder thou.....
Can save up to 500 or 600 mb of space.

Thank you so much for that. I seriously appreciate your help with that one. I've seen it create the c:\NVIDIA folder when installing but not this time about.

Nvidia changed their update procedure to delete the install files that were kept in C:\Nvidia after the update.
    From release notes 398.11

    "Display Driver Standalone Installer
The standalone display driver installer now removes extracted files after installing the driver, leaving a smaller footprint on the hard drive."

This change goes back to at least release 397.64

Sorry that is not true for any release that I have installed right up to 411.63 !!! If you have a the Installer2 sub folder, than there are lots of temporary files located in that dir, that can be deleted, Nvidia does NOT or ever has removed them!!! You folks keep saying Dir C:\Nvidia <---- I am not talking about any such Dir. I said which dir it was in. I'll do it again.
C:\Programs Files\Nvidia Corporation\ Installer2\ Don't delete the folder named \Installer2, just all the files INSIDE this folder.

You mention the files are deleted within the c:\NVIDIA Folder but I don't see even the Folder. Thus is seems they automatically remove the whole thing. Too bad they don't automatically remove the files in the Programs Files/Nvidia Corporation/ Installer2, although it's easily done. But it seems by not doing that, they're only half way there to be doing what they should.

Probably. But what about the C:\NVIDIA Folder? Why do you think it is that I'm not even seeing that? Apparently, they're not only deleting the files within that Folder but the Folder itself, hey?

Its a temporary folder, only made during install, and removed after install.

There are also programs like CCleaner, and Wise Disk Cleaner that delete that folder and files if checked. So they have been removing those files even if Nvidia didn't
