DVD Burner socket on the rear

I have a dvd burner HP Model SH-216BB/HPTHF

On the back are the usual data and power connectors but there is also a 2 pin socket.
Can anyone shed some light on what this is for?

Thank you Ken. It's not in use but I don't remember having seen it before.
