Formating New Harddisk

Hello,
I think this will be sortof stupid question but still I'll ask.
I want to add a hard disk to my pc just for data. The disk was removed from my old pc after running DBAN to clean it up. I do not want to divide it into partitions, just one large data storage. Disk size is 500 GB. I know I have to format it, does formating to ntfs make it a 64 bit, or have to add something to the formating proccess.
OS is win 10 pro 1709 English 64 bit.
Answers will be appreciated.

the easy way

Command mode in administrator mode

DISKPART
LIST DISK

SELECT DISK xx where xx is your 500GB disk
CLEAN

Now you've got a choice -- you can either make it GPT or MBR personally I'd make it GPT even though not being used as a boot disk.

so continuing :

CONVERT GPT
CREATE PARTITION PRIMARY
FORMAT QUICK FS=NTFS
EXIT

Job done !!!!

The disk isn't 64 but it's the windows that's 64 bit you create a partition then format it

you're obfuscating the issue -- all the OP wants to know is how to format the Disk which I think I've answered -- whether it's 32 or 64 bit windows is 100% irrelevant == the command and file service structures are exactly the same.
