    USB bricked

    Hello,
do you have any recommended actions for a Kingston USB drive that the only thing that it does is say "you have to format the drive" but nothing works?

    Any program?
    Thanks!

    Hi svlassis
    Please try this:
Open Elevated Command Prompt as Admin
    USB bricked-cmd.png
    Then type
    diskpart
    list disk
select disk x (where x is the number of your non-working drive – use the capacity to work out which one it is)
    attributes disk clear readonly
    clean
    create partition primary
    format fs=fat32
    exit

    I've tried it.
    I've tried everything I found.
But maybe there is a software out there that can do something more. I don't care about the contents, I just want to be able to use the USB!

Yes try format with Rufus, if that doesn't work, look at this:
