    Printer not connecting to computer

Hi ,,I have been changing inks and it gave an error and would not print ,so I tried to reinstall printer drivers and software and now it says in computer settings "network offline" and it will not communicate with printer.
Could you please tell me how to make it online with printer again.

Is it connected via USB or you can't install as it needs to talk to it

I do not understand about the usb as there was not one in before when I used it and also, I have an older computer in the another room and that is still able to use the printer without any usb. Can you help me any further please.

    First things first.

Could you shutdown PC, hold shift key and press shutdown. Then power off printer.

Wait 10 seconds, power on printer, power on PC.

    Does it work?

If not please click Start > Settings > Devices > Printers and scanners.

Is your printer listed there? Click on it once if there, then manage and run trouble shooter.

Any chance this printer is listed twice in devices.

and it is set as the default.

When you are in on that page where you can run Trouble shooter on if you click Print Test page what error do you get?

Thanks for your help mate,, it was shown twice and so I deleted both and reinstalled and it still did not work but went into what you suggested and it said it was not connected so I then connected to the network and it is ok.
    Thanks again.
