    Same Issue

ANOTHER way to get there! Crazy...

But yes, found it - cc:03:ab:26:8a:3a

Does the device have to disconnect / off to remove it?

@Try3, I tried this, gave me the same ID - but still returning unknown argument. Any ideas? Made sure I ran the BT Command Prompt in Admin mode as well...

Ugh, would help if I added ALL the attributes:

    -u -b

EDIT: Nope, still appearing, still showing paired.
I'm experiencing the same problem.. Have uninstalled/reinstalled the program several times. I've tried using just the -u prompt, and it does not remove any devices. Not sure where to go from here.

    submeg,

    I remove a device by

    Control panel,
    Devices & printers,
    right-click on the Bluetooth device,
    Remove device.

Hi @Try3, I gave that a go and at the bottom where it says status:, it was showing "Removing..." but then resulted in "Removed failed". Any other ways I can kick this device?

No. The only ways I know of are removing it by
    - Settings, Devices, Bluetooth & other devices
    - Control panel, Devices & printers, right-click on the Bluetooth device, Remove device.
    - Bluetooth Command Line Tools such as btpair -u {which removes all paired devices}

Might be worth turning Flight mode on first then removing in Devices & printers.

I haven't read everything in this thread, but all that I've seen depend on the device showing up in Devices and Printers, though it might be labelled as Unidentified. My problem is different and more difficult: the devices don't show up in Devices and Printers at all. When I try to add them with Add a Device, they show up after what looks like a search, but when I chose one and click Next, I get the unhelpful message "That didn't work"'.

I had the same problem as solved as follows:
    1) Installed the Bluetooth Command Line Tools
Bluetooth command line tools - work with bluetooth from the command line
    2) Get the MAC address of my device
This can be obtained in Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Devices and Printers in the properties of the device. It often appears under the name of "Unique identifier"
    3) run the command
    btpair -u -b xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx
This will unpair (-u) the bluetooth device with the xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx MAC address
I've tried absolutely everything. I work in IT, I'm pretty good with computers. But this was the only thing that could unpair my stuck device. You're a legend.

For users not getting it working using this, It was required for me to connect the device with the mac address in order to get rid of it. Could be did not even need the BT command line!
