The log function didn't record a single event.

Before the clean install (old system) the wake process was much faster.
Maybe it something new from the new drivers for the HD Graphics card.

Sorry i am new to this forum , should i checked this thread as solved?

No if you don't feel it is solved.

The log process requires you to start the logger and let in run. Once running leave it running. Plug in a USB key, it should log it. remove your mouse and install. Then let it fall asleep and wake up. If you hear sound that event should be logged too.

If as you said the sound has cleared then windows could have installed something to rectify matter.

The issue with the sound is resolved by installing another set of driver updates.

I still not sure that the black screen is an issue , because i remember that it never been so long.

What setting can cause this long init time of a graphic card ?

Is it asleep or is it hibernating?
