    Print job stuck in queue

I have a print job in my printer queue that I cannot get out. I tried printing a website from Microsoft Edge and it is stuck there since. I have tried clearing out the printer spooler as instructed here. But there are no files in my win32\spool\printer folder.

    Some more information:
I am trying to print from a laptop to a network printer at work. And the current status in the queue is "deleting".

Things I have tried till now:
    - stop printer spooler and empty spool folder
    - ran printer troubleshooter, but it just said it couldn't delete the print jobs, just like I couldn't do manually- restarted the printer
    - restarted the laptop
    - deleted the printer, but somehow when I reboot it adds the printer automatically again, including the stuck job

You might have to uninstall the printer completely from Add/Remove Programs, reboot, then reinstall them.

There's no printer there, probably because it is a network printer

I've sometimes it's necessary to physically all connections between the printer and computer before shutting them down to remove jobs from spoolers/cache. How is the printer connected to the Network/Router?

It is connected wirelessly, and I have also tried to disable the wireless adapter and then do the spooler cleaning

Another "fun fact": if I am on another network, the printer is still in my printer list, but the queue seems to be empty. It is only as I get on the network again, the stuck job shows up.

Power cycle the Printer if you haven't already. I'd turn the printer off, maybe even unplug it from the wall outlet. Then reboot your PC's, try clearing the print spooler again, and then turn the printer back on.

I wonder if it not a printer phenom nor a console (you) phenom, but a Print Server phenom? And you'll have to cycle _that_ print server off/on to clear the queue.

I don't know why, but it is working now. It seems that during the day today my queue magically emptied. I looked this morning, when I got back to work, but it was still there. But now I checked again, and it is working. So maybe it was a printer server phenomenon.
