Desktop and Laptop Doesn't Detect Dongle Plugged into TV

I recently purchased a Wi-Fi Miracast dongle from Amazon, but neither PC detects it.
On the PC end, I have a Wi Fi cable which plugs into a USB port,. I do not have Wi Fi on the desktop but do on the
laptop but still,nothing works.

I have heard that the HDMI dongle and the Wi Fi cable yo USB, doesn't require PC Wi -Fi, is this correct?

One other point, Miracast did not come with Windows 10, even though I have done a couple of clean installations.

There's no WiFi cable. There are only WiFi adapters built into computer or added from outside the case working of USB. There are two main frequencies WiFi works with, 2.4 and 5GHz so they have to match at both sides.

There were two components in the package, HDMI dongle , and a Wi Fi cable which plugs into a USB port of the PC..
There is no built in Wi Fi in my desktop, but there is in my laptop. I have no idea of the frequency the dongle works on, due tack of information that came with it.

I think he means a Wi-Fi Antenna Cable.

Right, hasn't come with Win10 on any of my computers.

Could you provide the make and model of the product or a link to it? Many products are not stocked by Amazon, will be shipped from "co-partners" but Amazon should stand behind it.

Sorry, I should have given you this in the first place, it is:
Yehua Wireless Display Dongle Ver. 1.2
It was supplied by a co partner. Their support desk wasn't much help due to language barrier, but they ended up giving me a refund without returning the item.
