Have you tried looking at the log files mentioned at the bottom of the dialog boxes that you posted. These might give a clue as to the reason for the failure. Attach the log files if you want people here to look at them.

I tried reading the logs but still have no idea what is going on. Here they are if anyone can decipher them I'd appreciate it.Attachment 197194Attachment 197195

The logs show it is failing at this step:
    Code:
    2018:07:26 17:17:21:783: Checking if OS 10.0 SP0 is greater-equal than 10.0 SP0
    2018:07:26 17:17:21:783: Windows 10 or above detected
    2018:07:26 17:17:21:783: Properties 'REBOOT=ReallySuppress IIF_ISWIN10ORLATER=1 ADDLOCAL=VCRedistx86'
2018:07:26 17:17:21:783: Setting MSI log file to 'IntelME_MSI.log'. Verbosity level is 4096
    2018:07:26 17:17:22:072: Return code: 1603
    2018:07:26 17:17:22:072: W Aborting install

What version of W10 do you have? Type winver in the search box and run the command that shows up.

That looks like an insider version and is probably the reason why the update fails. Windows Insiders should expect many odd effects from running a test build and report them directly to Microsoft.

    Hi

had that on an IP, a few builds back.

Had to disable virtualisation in Bios to get it to work
