How do I reset Touchpad to work properly

The touch pad on my Toshiba computer is not working. I only have one good USB port and use that for the mouse, but want to save pics on jump drive, but touch pad not working so I can operate without the mouse. Please tell me how to reset or reactivate my touch pad. I do not know how it got deactivated, it just wasn't working one day??

Check to see if the Laptop has a Special Key to disable the Touchpad , eg Fn+F2 does it on mine , but you may have an upper row Key that does it too.

might be time for a USB hub as well ?

What model# Toshiba Satellite do you have?
Go to the Control Panel/Mouse/Synaptecs tab. Enable Touch Pad (see attached)
Many Satellite models have a button at the top of the Touchpad to disable it as well
