Drive almost out of space and causing notifications, but doesn't exist

Hi,

For several weeks Windows 10 has been giving me notifications that a Drive E is almost out of space. The notifications occur constantly while I am trying to work and are very annoying. The worst thing is that this is not even a real disk on my computer. It says it is almost full but if I click in there, nothing is there! If I try to access it in Disk Management, I don't get any options other than help, while for the other drives I get a slew of options. Can anyone help me figure out what is going on with this drive and how to stop the constant notifications? I attached several images but I don't use forums a lot and am not familiar with how to put an image right in here.

Open a command prompt or powershell and run:
diskpart

After accepting the administrator warning, from the diskpart prompt run:
select volume E
remove letter=E
exit
exit

What you need to understand is a 499MB partition isn't that big. If you want to look at 250 MiB and 250 MB you obviously can (you can use Wikipedia) but it is just numbers - essentially the MiB is (not much) smaller and also in this case utterly irrelevant.

If you can't figure out the difference then forget it. It is less than 10% and a very small fraction of your C drive.

To put it clearer for you, your recovery partition is about 5000000000000000 times bigger.

1) Please re-post the image of disk management:

This partition must have enough space for the Windows Recovery Environment tools image (winre.wim, typically between 250-300MB, depending on base language and customizations added), plus enough free space so that the partition can be captured by backup utilities:

If the partition is 500 MB or larger, it must have at least 320 MB of free space.
If the partition is larger than 1 GB, we recommend that it should have at least 1 GB free.

The recovery tools should be in a separate partition than the Windows partition to support automatic failover and to support booting partitions encrypted with Windows BitLocker Drive Encryption.

4) Update the system specs in the "My Computer" section:

Include PSU. cooler, case, peripherals and anything attached to the computer by wired or wireless (mouse, keyboard, headset, printer, xbox, port replicator, docking station, USB wireless network card, etc.)

No, it is not. It is 499MiB. Windows just reports is wrong.

Have a look - download GDisk so you can see exactly how it is, type the start and end into your calculator application. Then divide them by 1000. Then divide them by 1024.

What you should realise is storage (disk) is divided by 1000. RAM is divided by 1024. This has been the same for 20 years or more.

The simple solution is post #2. Just sayin'.
