This a question for the laptop manufacturer and/or Microsoft.
Sorry but I'm neither one of them....

If I can suggest something is to look around in the forum of the laptop manufacturer

Just found this in a review of the laptop
"Navigation is accomplished with a decently sized trackpad that utilizes mouse drivers instead of Precision or Synaptics"

The thing is, how am I able to use MS gestures? They seem to work.
Go to BIOS settings, move to Main tab and check whether Touchpad is in Basic mode, if it is, switch to Advanced mode.

I looked everywhere in the BIOS and there is no touchpad setting.
