    Extra USB Drives Listed

I have several extra USB drives listed in File Explorer, i.e. USB Drive (E) through (G). None have media in them. I f I insert a drive, it shows up with a new letter. How do I get rid of those empty ones?

Remove the Drive letters in Disk Management.

The empty drives are probably Card Reader slots.

The drives don't appear in the list in disk management, but they don in the graphic part. How do I removed them?

Bear in mind, if they are Card Reader slots and you remove the Drive letters then insert an SD Card, it won't show up in File Explorer!

This is normal if you have a multi card reader.
