Wireless keyboard misses out or repeats letters

    Windows 10 Home

    USB cable keyboard works okay

But wireless keyboard (Logotech K400+ or a Victsing touchpad keyboard) either miss out or repeat letters (iiiii etc.).

I have tried all kinds of setting changes following google searches on this problem (but not really sure what I am doing, or what correct settings should be, just followed the advice) both in keyboard settings (Windows 10 Control Panel) and in the Ease of Access (also advanced part).

Still happens with both wireless keyboards - no matter what I do - but USB keyboard works fine!

    I’m stumped!

(both keyboards are plug&play with the little USB plugin receiver and I don't know if they also work with a special driver or not = and if so where do I find the driver = thought about removing it and trying to reinstall = but this might not be the issue at all?? I simply have no idea what is wrong = but seems strange that the USB works okay = which makes me think it must be something to do with the wireless rather than the keyboard settings, but???)

    Glad of help, and thanks

I have the Logitech K400 Pro and although I have installed the software for it will work fine without it and yours should too.

Some of the things that may be causing your problem's is either the battery is low or the USB receiver may be too far away from the keyboard, I use my keyboard for my media center and right now it is about 3 meters (10 feet) away and has been working fine.

If you install the software it will tell you if the battery is low and also give you some added features that you may like, If not you can always uninstall it.

You can find the software download page here

    Thanks sml156

I have the software installed, and the battery is full (new keyboard). The receiver is only a very short distance away from the keyboard so that is not the problem either.

    still baffled

Try putting the tiny USB receiver on a USB extension cable. I have mine placed under the monitor only 2 feet from the wireless mouse & keyboard. Also try removing then reinstalling the Logitech drivers. Note the driver tells you the battery health and estimates how many days battery life is left.

I do the same thing I have mine stuck to the side of my TV with 2 sided tape for my media center.
