Headphones do not show up when Realtek is installed

Ok, so I have a problem where my headphones do not show up in my playback devices, but it still works, it's just labeled as speakers. I've tried downloading the latest Realtek driver from their website, went through the whole procedure, but still the problem persists. However, when I only do the first part of the process, which is uninstall the Realtek driver, restart, and cancel the installation of Realtek, my headphones show up fine. I thought this would be fine, but my computer constantly begs me to restart and install the drivers. Is there any solution to this or am I just gonna have to uninstall Realtek every time my computer restarts? Thanks

OK, so this happened to me on my laptop. It wanted to use the realtek drivers no matter what. Let me show you what to do.
Step 1. Open the start menu and type 'Device Manager' in the search bar. Click on the result.

Step 2. You'll see this window appear.

Step 3. Expand the 'Sound , video and game controllers' category.

Step 4. Find 'Realtek High Definition Audio' in the list, then right click it and select Properties.

Step 5. Click on the 'Driver' tab near the top of the window.

Step 6. Now click on the button that says 'Roll back driver'.
If the button is dimmed, make sure your Realtek drivers are currently installed.

Step 6. If you did it correctly, the system should ask you to restart to finish. If it does then you finished the tutorial correctly!
Once restarted, Open device manager again using step 1. Expand the 'sound, video and game controllers' category again.

Step 7. If it says 'High Definition Audio Device' then you did it right. Here's a pic for example purposes:

So in my device manager, it says 'Realtek High Definition Audio(SST)' and the one without the '(SST)' is under hidden devices. Both do not allow me to roll back driver.



Also, I don't know if this means anything, but it says this on the hidden one.

Try disabling the one causing the problem.

I disabled the (SST) one and it did not work

If the driver is being installed by Windows Update, try the "Show/Hide" tool.

If you successfully hid the update, try uninstalling.

Hmm... Try uninstalling all realtek devices related to sound one by one. Right click a realtek sound device, then click uninstall device. If it asks you to restart, don't restart. Then, after you installed all of them, click the highlighted button.

Still nothing. I'm starting to think that just uninstalling Realtek every time my computer restarts is easier.
