plugged usb 2.0 tablet into 2.0 port but pc thinks it's a 3.0 port

    It's as the title states.

First, since a big Win10 update some time ago, my old trust tablet (so old that the link on the official Website is already deleted) doesn't work on my home pc anymore.
Troubleshooting says it's plugged into a 3.0 port when it actually isn't. Trying any port from 2.0, 2.0 on hub, 3.0, 3.1, no changes. Weird thing is, my brother's tablet works there.

Then I bought a new laptop few days ago as my old one died. I was using a wacom intuos on that one and it worked. So I plugged it into my new laptop and it worked as well. Until the bigger update some hours ago (I guess it's not a new one). Now it has the same error as my home PC...
On my old Laptop it worked even with the bigger update (I think...)

    In short:
Tablet doesn't work. The light is always on.
Device manager detects tablet only as mouse and not as tablet.
Devices, bluetooth and other devices page (windows 10 settings) recognize the wacom intuos
Devices and printers recognize the intuos too.
Troubleshooting says the device doesn't work as it's connected to a 3.0 port whether it actually is or not.

Is there a way to fix this?

Question: Is there a specific reason for wanting to connect it to the PC?

There seems to be a serious driver conflict. Some of the updates will update hardware driver to windows native. I would check all your hardware drivers and reinstall the latest ones from your manufacture support site.

OP is talking about a drawing pad, not an android type of tablet.

Okay, I'll try that for the Intuos.
I already tried for the trust one but as it's veeery old it didn't fix anything there.

Hey, it actually worked for the intuos. Downloaded a recent Driver and everything works now.
Only the trust tablet didn't have any new Drivers for quite a few years so no hope there I guess.
