I would use the utility to remove all touchpad drivers, then scan for new hardware and see what Windows installs. Scan I think is under Action in device manager.
A reboot will cause scan.
If it won't go try V22ish

Yes driver store
I would initial leave registry as is.
Remove all drivers and reboot.
Lets see if it works.
If it doesn't apply the latest from Softpedia
So I removed the driver i was using via Drive Explorer I was using v15.8
rebooted and i was still using the same driver
I uninstalled via device manager and it installed v 15.8
I manually then installed v 18.x and that worked
i then uninstalled that and used v24.x and thats now working
lets see how I get on with that?
Thanks again
Lol I sure am I hate having to use my usb mouse as the touchpad when it works is so useful and makes it easier to use the laptop on my lap etc.
Plus helps when I'm djing as I don't nerd the mouse and can scroll up and down through a list of tracks in no time rather than having to faff around and for the mouse
Is this laptop still under warranty and is the windows install from toshiba OEM preinstall version with all the software bloatware programs, in another word the original windows that came with the laptop ? I would say its actually another program causing the issues that got preinstalled
